Your co-workers decide to go out for happy hour, for the third night in a row. Ask yourself, “Will having an alcoholic beverage move me toward my goals, or away from them? Can I go out and socialize and abstain from drinking alcohol, at least until I reach my goals?”
The alarm goes off at 0-dark-thirty and you consider hitting the snooze button and skipping your morning workout. “Will skipping my workout move me to a better or worse place?”
